The enormous signage wall on the Nasdaq Tower, in the heart of Times Square, New York, joined our party today. Nasdaq used it to congratulate Pismo for the US$ 108 million Series B funding round that we have just announced.
Times Square is the most visited tourist attraction in the United States, with more than 40 million visitors annually. The iconic Nasdaq Tower is seven stories tall and is covered by a 10,000 square feet light panel. This giant billboard showed Pismo colours and the message ”Nasdaq congratulates Pismo on its $108 million Series B funding” this afternoon.
SoftBank Latin America Fund, Amazon and Accel lead our Series B funding round with B3, Falabella Ventures, PruVen, and existing investors Headline and Redpoint eventures. The funding will accelerate our global expansion and allow us further to develop our highly successful banking and payments platform.
