We welcome Awanish Kumar, our new head of business development in Europe. He has hands-on experience as a product manager, implementation lead, and sales head focused on the banking technology market. Now he will help spearhead the European expansion of Pismo from our office in the United Kingdom.
“In the current context of supercharged digitization ambitions and embedded finance in banking, I am excited to lead the charge of bringing Pismo to the European banking ecosystem as I add a new chapter in my professional journey,” says Awanish.
Before joining Pismo, Awanish headed sales for a portfolio of European banking clients at Virtusa. He also managed alliances in Europe and the Middle East, establishing partnerships to create sources of revenue growth. He has worked beforehand in several market-facing positions at Oracle, Intellect, and Infosys across Europe, Asia, and the USA. His areas of expertise include core banking, business process outsourcing, and transaction banking.
