Pismo’s Daniela Binatti, two projects based on the Pismo platform, and the platform itself have all been nominated for special recognition at the Finovate Awards.

The Finovate Awards, hosted at the Edison Ballroom in New York, recognises the companies driving fintech innovation. Across 23 different categories it celebrates achievements made by individuals and organisations bringing new ideas to life.

Daniela Binatti, Pismo Co-Founder and CTO, is nominated for the Innovator of the Year award. It celebrates an individual “whose ideas and creations have had the greatest impact on financial technology.”

The Pismo platform is a finalist for Best Back Office / Core Services Solution. The award is given to a company that “excels in back-office and core services solutions” and allows banks to “seamlessly managed their day-to-day operations.”

Pismo client BTG and its BTG Pactual Banking app are shortlisted in the Best Digital Bank category. It recognises a digital-only or digital-first bank that offers its customers quality products and an exceptional digital experience.

BTG Pactual Banking is also a finalist in the Best Customer Experience Solution category. This award is given to a bank that has created “an exceptional customer experience” in all aspects of the journey from onboarding to account management.

BTG and Pismo worked to create a complete, next-generation banking app in only eight months. It provides credit cards, investment funds, and financial management services.

Brazilian digital bank Cora is nominated for the Best SMB/SME Banking Solution award. Shortlisted firms in this category have shown “quality products and an exceptional digital experience” for business customers.

Cora uses the Pismo financial services platform to power its card management system, integrated with Visa and card embossers. The bank already has more than 500,000 account holders.

Winners of the Finovate Awards will be announced on 13 September 2022. Good luck to all the finalists!
